What is Lagos Life?

Lagos Life is a free, Sims-style multiplayer life simulation by Nigerian developer Shalom Rayhamen (Eliy), played entirely in your browser at lagoslife.app. Think The Sims, but instead of a quiet suburb you get danfo buses, NEPA power cuts, amala at Shitta, a landlord who knows exactly what day it is, and a whole city of real players living their own stories at the same time as you.

It exploded in early October 2026 — over a million players in three days — because it needs no download: you tap a link on your phone and you’re in the city. You keep six needs topped up (hunger, energy, hygiene, bladder, fun, social), work shifts, climb the money ladder, and pay rent every Saturday.

Four things to know before you play

There is no app or APK. Lagos Life runs in the browser only. Any download claiming to be the game is not it.
Game money stays in the game. In-game naira cannot be withdrawn, and anyone selling it for real cash is selling air.
Crypto tokens are not the game. Tokens with "Lagos Life" in the name are unofficial — the developer hasn’t linked any token to the game.
It’s 18+. You chat with real strangers, so keep personal details out of chat.
