Open it in a real browser
Go to lagoslife.app in Chrome or Safari. If you tapped a link inside TikTok, Instagram or X, switch to a real browser — in-app browsers are where most "it won’t load" stories begin. iPhones need iOS 16.4 or newer.
Sign up free
Pick a name, a username, a password and (optionally) an email for password resets. Your username is the @name other players see.
Create your Lagosian
Choose your look, personality and a dream to chase. Style sets run casual, smart and party.
Survive the birth lottery
The server picks your start — Nepo Baby, LAPO Baby or UNILAG Fresher. There is no reroll.
Get a job
Open your in-game phone, apply for a job, keep your six needs topped up and pay rent every Saturday.
Common problems, fixed
Stuck on a loading screen
Close the in-app browser and open the game directly in Chrome or Safari. Most "it won’t load" reports come from tapping a link inside TikTok, Instagram or X.
iPhone won’t load
Update to iOS 16.4 or newer, then open lagoslife.app in Safari.
Sign-in doesn’t stick inside an embedded window
Lagos Life keeps you signed in with a login cookie, and browsers block or discard those inside embedded windows — silently. Play the game in its own tab or window so cookies work normally.
Do I need an account?
You can walk around the city as a guest straight away. You need a free account to enter venues and keep your saved progress. The game is 18+ and the registration endpoint enforces it server-side.
No app? Add it to your home screen
There is no APK, Play Store or App Store version of Lagos Life. To get an icon on your phone that opens like an app, add the website to your home screen:
- iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen".
- Android (Chrome): tap the menu ⋮, then "Add to Home screen".

Is there a Lagos Life app or APK?
No. Lagos Life runs in the browser only. Any download claiming to be the game is not it.
Why will Lagos Life not load on my phone?
Switch from the in-app browser to Chrome or Safari, and make sure your iPhone is on iOS 16.4 or newer.
Do I need an account to play Lagos Life?
